The China Travel Company is an independently owned, family run China tour operator with a passion for showing our clients the best of China. Our travel consultants bring together a unique pool of China travel expertise based on many years experience of this country. Unlike many companies offering China, our primary focus is China and we have collectively visited all the destinations we offer, often many times. In fact, all our consultants have lived for extended periods in China.

Being a small company dedicated to China we pride ourselves on delivering a high level of customer service. Many of our clients keep in touch long after their trips have finished. Our satisfaction comes from the superb feedback we receive and the knowledge that we have provided our clients with the best possible China experience.

To back up this service all our trips are fully insured against our unlikely financial failure through our ATOL license 10287. We are also members of ABTA – membership number Y1699 – and adhere to and respect the high standards that membership entails. Despite nearly 5,000 years of recorded civilisation, China is still a relatively new destination for travellers. Tourism is sadly still dominated by poor quality group tours. However, we do not offer that experience – all our trips are private tours and in most cases are tailored to our clients specific requirements. We find this the most rewarding way to offer China and believe our clients do as well. Our trips not only cover all the highlights such as the Great Wall and Terra Cotta Warriors but are designed to give the curious traveller a better understanding of this spectacular country with well rounded and thought through itineraries.
