Tiger Leaping Gorge 虎跳峡 Travel Guide

Tiger Leaping Gorge Overview

Tiger Leaping Gorge is a contender for the deepest gorge in the world being 3,900 meters from the river at the bottom to the top of the peaks of Haba Shan to the west and Yulong Xueshan to the east that flank it. It is one of the best known treks in China although it can now also be done by bus as a road has recently been carved out along the entire 15 km of the gorge. Either way, it is well worth the trip for the views.
