Longji 龙胜梯田 Travel Guide
Longji Overview
Longji, also known as the Dragon’s Backbone Rice terraces, and the 600 year old Zhuang Village of Pingan are deservedly popular day and overnight destinations from either Guilin or Yangshuo. The terraces are set above and around the villages and provide fabulous backdrops to the scenes of village life and you don’t have to walk too far along the many paths to escape the masses from local tour groups. Longji can be visited as a day trip from Yangshuo but journey time is fastest from Guilin.
